The Wellesley Trust Fund

The Wellesley Trust Fund is now accepting applications for grants of up to £10,000 to support positive activities for young people aged 5 to 25. Priority will be given to projects that improve access to training, develop skills, and support personal and social development, alongside open-access youth provision.

Applications are welcome from organisations across County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland, with an annual income of up to £500,000. The fund can support core, revenue and project costs, and while grants are typically awarded for one year, multi-year funding may be considered.

Applications close on 19 January 2026 and will be reviewed in March.

For queries or to discuss a multi-year proposal, organisations should contact Pete Barrett – pb@communityfoundation.org.uk
