Welcome to North Tyneside

Welcome to North Tyneside Booklet Cover in Portrait. A community guide to the local area. Blue background with a lighthouse, seagull, sandcastle and beach sign.

As part of our now complete UKSPF Social Action Project, we’re delighted to share the Welcome to North Tyneside leaflet, a community-created guide for anyone new to the area.

This resource showcases North Tyneside’s community venues, areas of interest, and beautiful nature walks. While there are too many local treasures to feature in one leaflet, this guide offers a starting point for discovering the borough, highlighting hidden gems and meaningful places recommended by local people.

A Collaborative Effort

The leaflet was created through the collective efforts of volunteers and organizations who came together to share their knowledge and ideas. We’re grateful to Walking With in North Tyneside, MumSpace North Tyneside, North Tyneside Participation Youth Council, North Tyneside Employment & Skills ESOL service, and the individual volunteers who generously gave their time to this project.
