Forest Hall YPC is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, we are based and are the governing body at East Palmersville Sports Pavilion.

We are home to Forest Hall Football Club, West Allotment Celtic FC and Forest Hall Boxing Club.

Who bring with them over 500 members including 40 volunteer sports coaches.

Forest Hall FC have 16 teams of all ages, gender and ability including a soccer nursery, disability teams and senior teams all under their banner. West Allotment Celtic FC share our newly upgraded ground who bring with them 100’s of fans each week who also enjoy our recently opened bar area and hospitality.

Forest Hall BC invite children from 6-16yrs and adults of all ability to their very popular daily training sessions and their very own home grown celebrity, Lewis ‘The Sandman’ Ritson, professional boxer is a regular in the gym.

We are inclusive, reflecting our ethos, recreation and sport for all.

The Pavilion boasts 5 well-kept pitches including a floodlit, railed senior pitch at the front of our site with covered seated and standing areas. We are also lucky enough to have an enclosed 7 a side 3G. Our weekly activities include: Craft club, Man club, over 50’s lunch club, Warm Welcome Knit & Natter, Parent & toddler group. We are also very excited to be part of the new FA pilot Comets, pan disability football sessions for children. Various other fitness and community groups also take advantage of our large hall and meeting room including Clubbercise and Pilates. We also are host to Women’s Walking football and 12th Man fitness and well being programme with Newcastle United Foundation. Our facilities accommodate and serve the wider community with hundreds of users passing through our doors every week, it is a hive of activity which we strive to increase and build upon.

The object of the Forest Hall Young People’s Club Charitable Incorporated Organisation is to educate and assist young people of any ability in Forest Hall and the surrounding area through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their condition of life may be improved.

As activity increases at the Pavilion, we seek to welcome enthusiastic volunteers with knowledge and experience in digital and admin skills, some business acumen and building management to help strengthen our CIO.

To help us ensure the smooth running of Forest Hall YPC and the Pavilion and continue to encourage and support our community to improve their health and well being. To work together as part of a team and provide the best facility, activities and services in our locality.

Availability Details

The role is flexible to suit the individual. We would like them to be involved and a prominent figure within our group but it would not require them to be always present. Monthly or by monthly meetings will take place where we would like them to attend but most communications can be done via email or phone.
