Gardener
Cedarwood is an amazing community hub. We want the outside of our building to be as smart and appealing as the inside, but our gardens have suffered from a lack of care and attention in recent years. We need a team of volunteers to work together to bring this ambition to reality. We’re particularly interested if you’re willing to take a lead role in formulating a plan and directing the work of others.
Volunteering at Cedarwood, your day-to-day tasks may include:
- digging, planting and weeding flower beds and borders
- pruning shrubs and trees
- checking the health of plants and controlling pests
- looking after the appearance of plants and the surrounding landscape
- litter picking
- cleaning and maintaining equipment
