Grow & Eat seed-sowing session volunteer
“Grow & Eat” is a collaborative project by North Tyneside VODA, Public Health and Active North Tyneside. The aim of the project is to help communities in North Tyneside learn how to make more efficient use of their space to grow food and improve their physical and mental health.
One way the “Grow & Eat” project has been raising awareness of the benefits of growing-your-own is by delivering seed-sowing and other sessions across North Tyneside in libraries, schools and other public places. As the project enters its second year, we are looking to expand our sessions across the borough and over the duration of the week, to reach out to new audiences.
