The Greatham Foundation

The Greatham Foundation, formerly The Hospital of God at Greatham, offers grants of up to £3,000 to support community organisations across the North East (excluding Middlesbrough).

The fund focuses on core funding and projects responding to the cost of living crisis, particularly those that:

  • Empower local communities to build on their strengths and assets.

  • Support people experiencing disadvantage or unmet needs.

  • Assist smaller, locally based organisations working at the heart of their communities.

  • Encourage emerging or independent community-led groups and new ideas.

  • Provide short-term or core funding that delivers direct benefit to people.
