Working with the VCS: Primary Care Network specials 24 & 25 November

Working WIth Logo

Our next Working With the VCS events will focus on building new relationships between emerging Primary Care Networks and local charities and community organisations.

Primary Care Networks are a key part of the NHS Long Term Plan, providing an opportunity for GP Practices to come together and shape their services in response to the needs of their local population. There are four Primary Care Networks in North Tyneside covering Wallsend, Whitley Bay, North Shields and the North West. Primary Care Networks are keen to engage with voluntary and community organisations on their patch as part of their expanding neighbourhood teams comprising a range of staff such as GPs, clinical pharmacists and district nurses.

You can find out more about Primary Care Networks by watching this short interview with Dr Dave Tomson, North Shields Primary Care Network Director.

These free and interactive sessions will also provide an opportunity to explore the work of North Tyneside’s Ending Loneliness Partnership and North Tyneside’s Covid 19 Local Support Hub.

We are holding separate events for each of the four localities of North Tyneside, so please book on to the session that best reflects your geographic focus. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
