Free Training – Adult Safeguarding Essentials

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility so we’re pleased to be able to offer our latest eLearning course on Elements training portal completely free of charge to all.Adult Safeguarding Essentials is specifically for staff, trustees and volunteers working in voluntary and community settings. The course has been designed and delivered in partnership with expertise from the North Tyneside Safeguarding Adults Board, and the experiences of local infrastructure charities – North Tyneside VODA, Connected Voice and Northumberland CVA. This course is approved and endorsed by Newcastle City Council, North Tyneside Council and Northumberland County Council.

In this short, interactive course you will learn the essentials of safeguarding, with example case studies from voluntary and community organisations, and how to report a safeguarding issue. The course takes around one hour to complete and you can pause and revisit sections, completing it at your own pace.

Adult Safeguarding Essentials is one of four courses available through Elements training portal for voluntary organisations.
