Trustee
Justice Prince is looking to recruit an additional three members of the board which meets a
minimum of four times per year.
We work for the benefit of disadvantaged excluded individuals and communities tackling
inequalities and social injustice.
• To support the most disadvantaged excluded sectors of the community to identify
individual and community needs using appropriate methodologies
• To identify and support key individuals as community leaders and entrepreneurs
• To fill the ‘pre-start’ gap in business and enterprise development
• To build community infra structure by linking personal growth to local action that will impact
on wider society e.g. social policy
• To train local people and service providers in methods of engagement
• To provide support, supervision and mentoring
Once Justice Prince CIC is transformed into a registered Charitable Compnay our charitable
Objective will be : Relief of Poverty
We are seeking enthusiastic people who feel they could really make a difference to the lives
of local people facing greatest levels of disadvantage, discrimination and marginalised within
society. Justice Prince registered as a small Community Interest Company in March 2007
and has proven success, there is currently five directors who have been involved in the
organisation for over a decade. The organisation, after review and careful consideration, is
now in progress of transforming the CIC into a Charitable Company. Therefore, this is a
really exciting opportunity for new Trustees to join the Justice Prince board of Trustees.
We are excited at the prospect of refreshing our governance structure, systems and policies
to best serve those in greatest need and suffering hardship in these unprecedented times.
The pandemic and cost of living crisis has impacted hard on the poorest within our society,
there is a lot to be done and Justice Prince is poised to tackle these inequalities, we will use
practice to influence policy, creating a fairer more equitable society.
What skills do I need?
Justice Prince is striving towards the development of a diverse board, reflective of the people we serve. We are aiming to recruit Trustee’s with particular “specialisms” whether that be IT, finance, HR, strategic management/growth, equalities or marketing, to give a few examples. Most importantly, we are looking for people who want to make a difference to the lives of people suffering greatest hardship, disadvantage and marginalisation. Justice Prince is passionate and committed to tackling socio-economic inequalities that impact upon people’s health, well-being and opportunity to live happy fulfilled lives.
