VODA shortlisted for North East Charity of the Year

IG - NORTH EAST _CHARITY OF THE YEAR AWARD

We are delighted to announce that VODA has been shortlisted for North East Charity of the Year at the North East Charity Awards 2020.

The Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the hard work and creative thinking by our local charities and individual fundraisers, whilst also highlighting the local businesses and employees who help to support the work of our charities. Go to reachplcevents.com/charity for more information about the awards.

Speaking of the nominations, VODA’s Chief Executive Robin Fry said: “We are honoured and humbled to have made the shortlist for North East Charity of the Year. It has been an extremely difficult year for charities and these awards are more important than ever to help recognise the achievements of the sector which has stepped up to help those most in need during the pandemic, despite facing many challenges along the way. Congratulations and good luck to all of the nominees. ”

Due to the current restrictions, the event will be held online on Thursday 3 December across social media – #NECharityAwards. You can follow it here: Twitter: @NECharityAwards  Facebook: @NECharityAwards Instagram: necharityawards LinkedIn: North East Charity Awards
